“Revolutionary technology in a sustainable package that can be deployed anywhere.”

Impact

Superior technology in an eco-friendly, cost-effective, sustainable package that can be deployed virtually anywhere.

Aqua Fission’s technology is verified by accredited laboratories, including SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance). We completed numerous pilot installations proving our effectiveness at scale from desalination of seawater and separating oil and sludge to decontaminating and remediating lakes contaminated by radiation.

CYPRUS: Aradippou and Moni

Seawater Desalination / Drinking Water Production

Cyprus faces a severe water scarcity crisis. The municipalities of Aradippou and Moni deployed AquaFission plants for desalination of seawater and production of drinking water.

TIMEFRAME: 3 Years

ARADIPPOU CAPACITY: 1,500 m³/day (1,500,000 liters/day)
TOTAL VOLUME TREATED: 1,642,500 m³ (1,642,500,000 liters)

MONI CAPACITY: 1,200 m³/day (1,200,000 liters/day)
TOTAL VOLUME TREATED: 1,314,000 m³ (1,314,000,000 liters)

POLAND: Katowice

Radiation Decontamination / Environmental Remediation

A legacy of communist-era industrial practices, radiation contamination in mining lakes is a significant concern, particularly in Poland’s Upper Silesian Coal Basin. The municipality of Katowice deployed Aqua Fission to remediate lakewater and remove harmful radiation.

TIMEFRAME: 4 months
CAPACITY: 150 m³/day (150,000 liters/day)
TOTAL VOLUME TREATED: 18,000 m³ (18,000,000 liters)

GREECE: Port of Piraeus

Seawater Decontamination / Hydrocarbon Removal

Piraeus, the largest port in Greece, faces chronic hydrocarbon pollution from maritime and industrial sources. The energy company, OilOne, deployed AquaFission to treat seawater contaminated with hydrocarbon derivatives and other pollutants.

TIMEFRAME: 6 months
CAPACITY: 75 m³/day (75,000 liters/day)
TOTAL VOLUME TREATED: 13,500 m³ (13,500,000 liters)

GREECE: Halkidiki

Sludge Dewatering / Irrigation Water

Sludge, a byproduct of anaerobic digestion of organic materials to produce biogas, can contain harmful impurities that threaten to contaminate groundwater. The Halkidiki biogas plant deployed AquaFission to dewater sludge, and produce humus and irrigation water.

TIMEFRAME: 8 months
CAPACITY: 75 m³/day (75,000 liters/day)
TOTAL VOLUME TREATED: 18,000 m³ (18,000,000 liters)
