“Modular. Sustainable. Infinitely Scalable.”

Modular Water Infrastructure, Built to Scale

An Historic Breakthrough
in Water Treatment

Aqua Fission is designed to operate at virtually any scale, in almost any environment. From mobile demonstration units to large, multi-line, decentralized industrial deployments, Aqua Fission systems scale simply by adding additional modules. Capacity grows linearly, without redesign, complex integration, or diminishing efficiency.

Aqua Fission removes all pollutants without filters, membranes, chemicals, or high pressure — all while producing no brine waste and little to no carbon emissions.

Built for flexibility and future growth.

All Aqua Fission systems share the same core design philosophy: modular deployment, closed-loop operation, ultra-low energy use, and Zero Liquid Discharge. This allows customers to start small, scale efficiently, and adapt systems over time as demand, regulation, or water sources change.

Modular. Sustainable. Infinitely Scalable.

Aqua Fission’s off-grid ready, modular design is housed in 20-foot containers, allowing for mobile installation on trolleys, ships, railway platforms, and remote locations lacking essential infrastructure. Aqua Fission technology is unparalleled globally, with no existing analogues. For example, ten Aqua Fission production lines can generate approximately 2,000 m³ (2,000,000 liters) of clean water per day, while simultaneously recovering up to 80 tons of valuable wet salt — all without producing toxic brine or liquid waste.

No Membranes. No Chemicals. No Toxic Discharge.

Unlike reverse osmosis and other legacy treatment systems, Aqua Fission operates without heating, membranes, chemicals, reagents, filters, coagulants, inhibitors, electrodes, or high-maintenance consumables. The system achieves true Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD), eliminating toxic brine and Reverse Osmosis Concentrates (ROCs) entirely.

Ultra-Low CapEx and OpEx. No Emissions.

With few moving parts, low maintenance, no consumables, and ultra-low energy consumption, Aqua Fission’s CapEx and OpEx are dramatically lower than conventional water treatment systems such as Reverse Osmosis. Aqua Fission can operate off-grid using solar or alternative power sources, enabling water production with minimal or zero CO₂ emissions. This makes Aqua Fission well suited for remote locations, disaster response, water-stressed regions, and ESG-driven infrastructure projects.

Whether it’s turning seawater or toxic brine into clean, drinkable or irrigation water, treating industrial or chemical wastewater, removing radioactivity, or even extracting valuable minerals like lithium from brine, Aqua Fission provides an eco-friendly, cost-effective, infinitely scalable, and widely deployable solution. Aqua Fission water purification technology offers a sustainable path forward for global water challenges. It effectively removes all pollutants—both natural and synthetic—all while consuming minimal energy and leaving behind no harmful brine, ROCs, or carbon emissions.

Aqua Fission X200

A modular, infinitely-scalable water treatment platform.

  • Daily capacity: 53,000 GPD (200 m³)*
  • Width: 8 feet (2.59m)
  • Depth: 8 feet (2.49m)
  • Height: 20 feet (6m)

Modular Aqua Fission X200 systems are decentralized and can operate independently or in parallel. Fast, phased deployment means clean water in months, not years.

  • Designed for modularity and fast deployment, each X200 system is built and transported on a single 20-foot container chassis.
  • Decentralized and infinitely scalable, multiple X200 units can be combined to meet virtually any capacity requirement, supporting phased deployment, redundancy, and long-term scalability for large infrastructure projects.
  • With ultra-low energy consumption of 0.7 – 1 kWh per m3, the X200 is off-grid, solar ready.
  • Aqua Fission is offered in two primary process configurations:
    • Low-solids / high-dissolved-solids configuration
Designed for free-flowing waters with relatively low suspended solids, including seawater, brackish water, groundwater, landfill leachate, and water contaminated with dissolved chemicals, salts, or heavy metals.
    • High-solids / slurry / biosolids configuration
Designed for higher-viscosity streams with elevated suspended solids and semi-liquid waste content, including wastewater slurries, sludge-bearing streams, digestate, biosolids, and other concentrated industrial or municipal residuals.
